Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has unveiled a groundbreaking program called ‘The Ten’. This exciting initiative is designed to showcase and reward the discovery of the top 10 sports cards in the market. Taking inspiration from renowned lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ will feature a dynamic selection of cards across all sports.

The program, which launched on Wednesday, offers collectors the chance to win $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit if they successfully pull one of the top 10 cards on the Fanatics Live app. Each month, ‘The Ten’ will rotate the cards, carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Some of the cards that could be featured include the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list of ‘The Ten’ includes a mix of legendary athletes and rising stars from various sports. Iconic figures like Tom Brady and Steph Curry will be featured alongside up-and-coming talents like MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, as well as NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. The selected cards will represent different brands, such as Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman, creating a diverse portfolio for collectors.

James Kollar, the senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal to enhance the collecting experience and give back to collectors and the hobby. ‘The Ten’ aims to foster community engagement by allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to contribute to the monthly card selections. This involvement ensures that the program reflects the interests and preferences of the collectors themselves.

‘The Ten’ not only rewards collectors but also serves as a platform to promote new products and reignite interest in existing releases with chase cards. Dealers and collectors will have the opportunity to showcase these cards, sparking excitement and discussions within the community. Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’. These events will celebrate major discoveries, announce upcoming cards, and keep collectors engaged in the program.

A dedicated webpage will track the featured cards and their finders, adding to the storytelling aspect of ‘The Ten’. The program focuses on the unique stories behind the collectors and their incredible finds. With the potential inclusion of guest athletes and additional prizes, ‘The Ten’ aims to create a captivating and immersive experience for collectors.

Since its debut, Fanatics Live has experienced remarkable growth, with an average watch time of 56 minutes. This highlights the platform’s emergence as a community-focused hub for collectors. James Kollar expressed his enthusiasm for the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ on the Fanatics brand and the collector community as a whole.

‘The Ten’ program is set to revolutionize the collecting experience. By highlighting and rewarding the discovery of top sports cards, Fanatics aims to create excitement, foster engagement, and celebrate the stories of passionate collectors. With the promise of $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit, collectors now have even more reason to dive into the vibrant world of sports card collecting.

In conclusion, ‘The Ten’ is a groundbreaking program that rewards collectors for finding top sports cards, offering an immersive experience and fostering community engagement. With its monthly rotation, diverse card selection, and dedication to storytelling, ‘The Ten’ is set to captivate collectors and elevate the Fanatics brand within the collecting community.
