Burglary at Pick 6 Sports Cards

Early on a Tuesday morning, the quiet streets of Coeur d’Alene were disrupted as Pick 6 Sports Cards became the target of a daring burglary. The local police department was swiftly mobilized to investigate the aftermath of what appeared to be a meticulously planned heist.

Reports indicate that the burglars used a dark-colored, late-model Ram pickup truck to crash through the front entrance of Pick 6 Sports Cards, located at 610 Hubbard St. #107. The forceful entry allowed the culprits easy access to the store, where they swiftly proceeded to ransack the premises for valuable sports trading cards.

Eyewitnesses recalled seeing the thieves hurriedly exiting the scene of the crime and fleeing north on Lincoln Way/U.S. 95 before making a sharp turn westbound onto Interstate 90. The getaway vehicle, identified as the aforementioned Ram pickup truck, bore visible damage to its tailgate and at least one rear taillight. To further complicate matters, the license plate affixed to the truck was later determined to have been stolen.

In a bid to aid the ongoing investigation, authorities have urged anyone with knowledge of the burglary or the suspects involved to come forward and assist the Coeur d’Alene Police Department in their pursuit of justice. Individuals can share information by contacting the police department directly at 208-769-2320, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation to crack this puzzling case wide open.

As the dust settles on this audacious crime, the community remains on high alert, hoping for swift apprehension of the perpetrators and the safe return of the stolen sports trading cards. The brazen nature of the burglary has left many residents in disbelief, underscoring the need for enhanced security measures and vigilant neighborhood watch efforts to prevent similar incidents in the future.
