INDYCAR and Parkside Cards Team Up for Thrilling Trading Card Series Launching in 2024

As the anticipation builds for the 2024 INDYCAR season, racing enthusiasts have even more reason to get excited. INDYCAR has announced a three-year partnership with Parkside Cards to launch a brand-new series of trading cards, set to be released on March 1, 2024. This collaboration will not only bring fans closer to the action but also offer a variety of collectibles, contests, and giveaways that will enhance the overall race weekend experience.

The INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be available to fans at race events, in retail stores, and online. Parkside Cards has planned several initiatives to engage fans and create an immersive experience. One of the highlights includes redemption cards for signed memorabilia, giving fans a chance to own a unique piece of racing history. Additionally, they will be hosting a contest with a grand prize trip to the iconic Indy 500, giving lucky winners the opportunity to witness the thrill of the race firsthand.

Parkside Cards, renowned for their card collections featuring the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding their portfolio with this exciting motorsport partnership. The INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes will be priced at $88.99, plus shipping, and will contain 20 packs, each with eight cards. Fans can expect two autographed cards in every box. For those looking for smaller packs, retail hanger packs will be available, featuring 25 cards with one autographed card included in every 18th pack.

What makes this trading card series truly unique is the inclusion of relic cards. These special cards will contain actual pieces of bricks from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, allowing fans to own a tangible piece of racing history. The base set of the INDYCAR Collection consists of 162 cards, accompanied by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set. Other thematic inserts, such as Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT, will also be available. Autographs from 27 different drivers will be featured, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels that increase the collectibility factor of the series.

Mark Miles, the President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his excitement for the partnership, recognizing the significance of trading cards as a way for fans to connect with their favorite sports stars. He believes that the new INDYCAR card series will offer fans a dynamic and engaging way to interact with the personalities and talents of the sport.

While fans eagerly await the start of the 2024 racing season, pre-sales for the INDYCAR trading card series have already begun. The season will kick off in St. Petersburg, FL, on March 10, 2024.
